Meet the Mount Pulaski Courthouse Foundation Board
![]() Jamie Jones, ChairmanJamie was raised and graduated high school from Eureka,Illinois, another town famous for its presidential ties. Jamie met her husband, Andrew, a MP alumni, while they were both attending college at ICC. Jamie and Andrew along with their two daughters, Abigail and Josie, moved to Mount Pulaski in 2010. Jamie works at the MP Grade School and enjoys spending her time cheering for her favorite "Honeybears", her daughters. Her family is very involved in sports and activities in the community. | ![]() Amanda Doherty, Vice ChairmanAmanda is originally from Du Quoin, Illinois-moving to the area in 2008. She, her husband Chris and two children- Maggie and Liam, live just south of Mt. Pulaski in the old farmhouse formerly owned by the Shellhammer family. Amanda is the director at the Mt. Pulaski Public Library, is active in cub scouts and her church, for St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Amanda loves Mt. Pulaski and being involved in community events. | ![]() Julie Wubben, SecretaryJulie is from and currently resides in rural Chestnut with her husband, Nick Stone, and two daughters, Mariah and Meghan. She taught Spanish for thirteen years before deciding to become a full time parent and substitute teacher. She is currently a part time Spanish teacher at Lincoln Community High School. Her grandmother, Dolores Maxheimer, is the great great granddaughter of Jabez Capps one of the co-founders of Mount Pulaski and a friend of Abraham Lincoln. |

![]() Janette Cooper, Board MemberJanette has lived in Mt. Pulaski her whole life. She is very patriotic and has a love for the flag and all that it stands for. Janette works for MPHS as the Librarian and enjoys helping students learning through reading. She resides in a log cabin (like Lincoln) south of Mt. Pulaski, with her husband, Chad, and their daughter, Olivia. Janette is a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Decatur and enjoys attending her daughters softball games-year round. | ![]() Carly Powell, Board MemberCarly was born and raised in Mount Pulaski and resides here today. She is one of the third grade teachers at Mount Pulaski Grade School. |
